Is death the end of everything?
In the present state of public sentiment, if you say “No” to this question, you are supposed to favour the common belief that man is immortal, and exists in death as much as in life. If you say “Yes” you are supposed to deny all religious beliefs. But there is a ground on which neither one answer nor the other would express the absolute truth.

Some would say that faith is only for those who are simple or weak and need a crutch to get through life. Some would seem to say that in this world we live in today, atheism is a form of higher thinking that will lead to better things.
